Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Locible Ltd collects, why we collect it, who else sees it, and the choices you have.
1. Who We Are
Locible is operated by Locible Ltd ("Locible", "we", "our", "us"), a company incorporated on 20 April 2026 and registered in England under company number 17167788. For the personal information described in this policy, Locible Ltd is the data controller.

This policy covers our website at locible.com and the Locible dashboard. If anything here is unclear, or you want to exercise one of the rights in section 9, email us and a person will read it.
2. Information Collected
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Website, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Website, or otherwise when you contact us.
Account Information
Your name, email address, a hashed password (or your Google sign in), and your plan and billing status.
Business Profile Data
Business name, address, phone number, opening hours, category, description, and any logo or photos you upload for your listing.
Usage Analytics
Device type, browser, IP address, and which pages you visit. Analytics only runs if you accept analytics cookies.
Review Data
Reviews left for your business on platforms you connect, including the reviewer name shown publicly and the review text, used to draft replies.
3. How Data Is Used
We use the information above for the following purposes, and nothing else.
- To create your account and keep you signed in.
- To submit your business details to third-party directories, which our team does manually on your instruction.
- To collect the reviews left for your business and draft replies for you to approve.
- To take payment for your subscription and keep a record of it.
- To send you service messages such as receipts, security alerts and support replies.
- To find and fix errors, and to keep the platform secure.
Our lawful bases under UK data protection law are: performance of our contract with you, for running your account, your listings and your billing; your consent, for analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time; and our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure, supported and working.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to take payments securely. We also use Google Analytics, but only if you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner. We run no advertising cookies.
For detailed information on how we utilize tracking technologies, please review our dedicated Cookie Policy
5. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your account data, business profile and reviews are stored in our own database, which runs on a server Locible controls rather than a third-party managed database service. Images and files you upload are stored with Cloudinary, described in section 6.
We keep your personal information for as long as you have an account with us, and afterwards only for as long as we need it to meet a legal, accounting or record keeping obligation. Ask us to delete your account and we will delete or anonymise the personal information we hold about you, except anything we are required to keep, such as payment records.
6. Who Else Sees Your Data
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use the following service providers, and each one only receives what it needs to do its job.
Stripe
Takes subscription payments. Your card details go to Stripe directly, and Locible never receives or stores them.
Cloudinary
Stores and serves the logos and photos you upload for your business profile and support tickets.
Google Vertex AI (Gemini)
Generates draft replies to your reviews. It receives the review text and your business details for that draft.
Google Analytics 4
Measures site usage, and only runs if you accept analytics cookies.
Sentry
Records technical errors so we can fix them. Error reports can include the page you were on and your account identifier.
Resend and Hostinger SMTP
Deliver our emails, such as receipts, password resets and support replies.
Separately, when you ask us to list your business, our team submits your business details by hand to the directories you have chosen, for example Google. Those details are meant to be public, and once a directory publishes them they are governed by that directory's own privacy policy, not ours. Some of these providers are outside the UK, so your information may be transferred internationally under the safeguards their contracts provide.
7. Security Measures
Traffic to and from Locible is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed and never in plain text, accounts lock temporarily after repeated failed sign in attempts, and access to production systems is limited to the people who need it.
However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot promise that unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security.
8. Your Rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop certain uses of it, and ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, such as analytics cookies, you can withdraw it at any time.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle your personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email.
